Margaret L. Yearick, 92, a resident of Lock Haven Rehabilitation Senior Living, passed away on July 8, 2025 at the facility. She was born in Lock Haven, Pa, May 27, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Eva J. Tressler Powers.

She had worked as a Custodian at the Beech Creek Hotel and Mill Hall Elementary School. She enjoyed all outdoor activities, a true pioneer woman from the mountains to the kitchen, can’t name much she can’t do. Margaret was always a hardworking, loving woman who loved her island, her root beer floats, and her kitties (especially Freddie).

Margaret is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Chaplain, of Lock Haven, Pa and Jackie Confer of Loganton, Pa. Surviving are her grandchildren Sabrina, Laurie, Sherry, Christyn, Billie, Hunter, and Asia. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Coa, Reece, Yakira, Harley, Alec, Aaron, Sage, Matthew, Caitlyn, Kacie, Ryan, Rachel, and Castor. Margaret’s great great grandchildren surviving are Sultan, Bryar, Azlyn, August, Rayce, Mason, Everleigh, Finnegan, and Maverick. She was preceded in death by a son Steven A. Yearick, 3 brothers, Samuel, Charles, and George Powers. She was also preceded on death by 5 sisters, Miriam Beal, Barbara, Carrie, Violet, and Nancy Powers.
