Arleen P. McGuire, 91, of Montoursville, passed peacefully Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Heritage Springs Memory Care Montoursville.

Born October 11, 1933, in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Anna (Haliszik) Jasulewicz. Arleen married William F. McGuire, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2010.

Arleen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed playing golf, tennis, gardening, cooking, and loved to bake. She was known for telling captivating stories and singing songs with her grandchildren.

Arleen was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for 60 years. She also was a member of the Williamsport Country Club and the Williamsport Garden Club.

Arleen is survived by daughters, Amy B. (Bryan) Dunlop, of Montoursville, Cathy A. (Dave) Fraser, of Leland, NC, Colleen M. (Tallie) Marsh, of Woodstock, VT, Lynne A. (Kevin) Lyons, of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Lauren, Kyle, and Drew Fraser, Landon, and Jack Marsh, Conor, and Riley Lyons, Erin, and Derek Deljanovan; three great grandchildren; one brother, and 3 sisters. Arleen was predeceased by her sister Anne Chacko.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 100 Walnut St., Montoursville, with Rev. Fr. Sean Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the McCarty Thomas Funeral Home 733 Broad Street, Montoursville.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty Thomas Funeral Home, Montoursville.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 800 Mulberry St. Montoursville, PA, 17754 or to UPMC Hospice.
