Veronica D. “Nikki” (Baney) Weaver, 52, of Loyalsock Twp. passed away surrounded by family on Friday, June 6, 2025 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Nikki was born in Williamsport on August 16, 1972, a daughter of the late John Baney Sr. and Sandra (Sechrist) Baney.

She was a graduate of the former Newport Business Institute, Nikki had been employed at Stellant Systems, she rose up through the ranks from an entry level position to a highly respected supervisor. A people person, she enjoyed cookouts, concerts, she was a huge fan of Rick Springfield, Nikki had been a member of the Williamsport Women’s Pool League for the past six years. She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

She and her husband, Jeffrey C. Weaver have been together for the past 28 years and would have celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on June 23, 2025. In addition, she is survived by her beloved daughter, Jacquelyn K Baney; grandchild, Sierra Panell, Luis Panell Jr., Naviah Panell; great granddaughter, Elizabelle King; brother John Baney II; sisters, Chitina Schatz and Valerie Baney. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents; brothers, David Baney, Richard Baney and Steven Baney all preceded her in death.

A celebration of her life will be announced in the near future.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport PA 17701, to help defray funeral expenses.
