Patricia Ann Dorey, 78, formerly of Mill Hall, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born September 17, 1946 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Anna Mae Rhine, Sr.

Patty graduated from Bald Eagle Nittany High School.

On August 26, 1967, she married John F. Dorey, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage before his passing on January 30, 2019.

Patty enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling, reading and watching sports. She was a dog lover. Most of all, Patty enjoyed visiting with her family.

She dedicated her life to her family, raising her children: James (Hope) Dorey and Tina Hemmis, both of Milton, FL and Joseph (Dana) Dorey of Milton, IA; her siblings: twin sister, Margaret “Peggy” Shires of Middleburg, Betty Rager of Lewisburg, Harry Rhine, Jr. of Gatesville, TX, David Rhine of Flemington, Dorothy Tressler of Middleburg and Verna Bender of Middleburg; grandchildren: TeAnna, Kyle, Keith, Kip and Kasey Dorey; and four great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Patty’s Life will be held at the convenience of her family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
