Lloyd L. Bunch, 89, of Washingtonville, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
Born May 28, 1935 in Harvard, Idaho, he was a son of the late Herbert R. and Velma E. (Wynn) Bunch. On May 8, 1960 he married the former Pattie L. Bartlett and they celebrated 53 years of marriage until her passing in 2013.
Lloyd was a 1955 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He proudly and honorably served his country in the US Army. Lloyd worked and later retired from Milton Manufacturing, Inc.
He was a member of Washingtonville Volunteer Fire Company, and the Turbotville VFW Post 8206, Muffly-Huff Post.
Lloyd enjoyed coaching midget/little league baseball in Washingtonville and walking 2-4 miles each day. He was a proud blood donor for many years.
Lloyd is survived by two sons, Lloyd L. Bunch, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Mitchell, SD, and Gary L. Bunch and his wife, Kathy, of Selinsgrove; four grandchildren, Jason Carpenter, Amand Friend, Cory Lilly, and Joanna Ambrose; seven great-grandchildren, Jenna and Jack Carpenter, Brian and Ashleigh Friend, Gregory Ambrose, and Ryker and Leon Lilly; two brothers, Herbert E. Bunch, and Delmar J. Bunch; a sister, Shirley J. Wilson; and Joseph Notargiacomo.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
