Jonathan Tucker Kyle, 35, of South Williamsport Pa, passed away at home April 9, 2025.

Born September 3,1989 in Williamsport Pa. He was the son of Lynn (Mix) Shellman – Snyder. Brothers George Shellman, York Pa and Ryan Shellman, Beech Creek Pa.

Nieces and Nephews, Raven Shellman, Isaac Shellman, Carter Shellman and Brynlee Shellman.

Father Lynn E. Kyle and step brother Lynn E. Kyle Jr.

Also, many aunts, uncles and cousins, of whom, dearly miss him.

Jonathan, known to friends and family as Jon, graduated South Williamsport area high school, 2009. Shortly after he attended Pennsylvania College of Technology. Graduating with an associate’s degree in Applied Science, 2014.

Jon worked at Dollar General for several years and most recently at Dunkin Donuts. He made numerous friends and acquaintances that will always remember him for his work ethics, respectfulness and great friendships. His wisdom was a gift for those who got to know him.

Jonathan had a wide array of talents and interests. Including writing music, playing guitar, designing, building and creating artwork. He enjoyed mentoring friends in need, the sciences, psychology and learning about the human condition.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert S. Mix Jr. and Joyce H. Mix of South Williamsport Pa. Paternal grandparents Gilbert E. Kyle and Audrey K. Kyle of Harrisburg Pa.

A memorial celebration of Jon’s life is planned and will be announced at a future date.
