Anthony Frank Rizzo, Jr., 68, of Williamsport died, Friday, April 4, 2025 at home.
Born July 18, 1956 in Williamsport he was the son of the late Anthony Rizzo Sr. and Evelyn (Vandermark) Rizzo of Williamsport who survives him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Anthony Robert “TJ” Rizzo (Shelbi) of Harrisburg; his loving partner of 27 years, Cindy Montgomery Rizzo of Williamsport; a step-daughter, Asya Biddle (Aaron) of Williamsport; grandchildren, Kinsley, Kyleigh, and Kaydin Rizzo and Alex Biddle; two sisters, Gail Rizzo of Williamsport and Donna Chappell of Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Born and raised in Newberry he graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1975 where he participated in Gymnastics and Track and Field. He was employed by Darling Valve then moved to Harrisburg where he worked for the railroad. He worked for TruTemper as a supervisor then he became an overnight truck driver. In 1999 he returned to Williamsport and was employed by Fed Ex Trucking.
Anthony belonged to Swatara Church of God while residing in the Harrisburg Area. He loved star gazing and camping, was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed NASCAR and hanging out with friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend who will be missed by all.
A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Sanders.
