Richard A. Griffith, 86, of Williamsport, passed away, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born September 3, 1938 in Williamsport, he was a son of Felix and Marjory (York) Griffith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Louise (Ames) Griffith on July 20, 2021.

Dick served his country in the U.S. Navy and retired as a welder. He was a member of the Republican League and Republican Club. Dick enjoyed playing slow pitch and fast pitch softball, golfing, hunting, fishing and square dancing with his wife Louise. He was a member of Williamsport Assembly of God.

Surviving are two children Thomas R. Griffith of Williamsport and Terri G. Reaves (James) of Lebanon.

A memorial service to honor Dick’s life will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Williamsport Assembly of God 1230 Sherman St. Williamsport. A time of visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at church.
