Blake J. Starrett, 58

Blake J. Starrett, 58, of Media died unexpectedly after being stricken at home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Blake was born in Fremont, Calif. on July 3, 1966, a son of the late Peter W. and Katherine L. (Karnstedt) Starrett. He spent the majority of his earlier years growing up in Minnesota and in turn becoming a Minnesota sports fan. A sports enthusiast he was an avid Vikings, the North Stars, and Minnesota Twins fan, he grew up playing sports and continued to enjoy playing golf and weekly softball pick-up games as long as he was physically able. Blake was a man of integrity, kindness and had a heart that could fill a stadium. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he had a sense of duty and loyalty, standing by the ones he loved.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kimberlee A. (Winner) Starrett, they were married in August of 1996.

Surviving in addition to is wife are his brother, Andy (Jennifer) Michael of NC; sister, Patti Wilkerson of Calif. and numerous nephews and nieces, on Kim’s side of the family he is survived by his; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Mary “Lou” Winner of Williamsport; sister-in-law, Lynn (Greg) Keller and their children, Ryan and Megan Keller of Mich.; brother-in-law, David (Kristal) Winner and their children, Brady, Makenna and Bryce of South Williamsport

Blake was employed in the hospitality industry for many years

A Celebration of Blake’s Life be held in the fall of 2025.
