Susan “Susie” Martz
July 23, 1962 – March 3, 2025

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Susan “Susie” Martz on Monday, March 3, 2025, a bright and beautiful soul who brought warmth and joy to those around her.

Susie was a woman of great determination—once she set her mind on something, she pursued it with unwavering tenacity. She knew what she wanted, and she embraced life with energy, laughter, and an infectious smile that could light up any room. Susie found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved music, car rides, shopping for new clothes, and getting her hair done. She cherished the textures of life, enjoyed rocking (whether on her own or in a chair), and could never say no a warm hug. Attention from others made her shine, yet she also valued her personal space. Disney shows always brought her joy, and she had a special love for simply soaking in the little moments.

Susie embraced life in her own unique and beautiful way.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, caregivers, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Susie is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Evelyn Martz; and a brother, Timothy Martz.

A celebration of Susie’s life will be held at 11am on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation and Funeral Home, 500 West Fourth St., Williamsport. A public viewing will be held from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home on Monday. We invite those who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory, sharing stories, and celebrating the joy she brought into our lives. Burial will be in Steam Valley Cemetery, Trout Run.
