Catherine V. Georgy, 80, Williamsport, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Williamsport Home. Her Husband Dr. Farouk Georgy passed away in 2011.

Catherine was born on April 20, 1944 in Kittanning, PA and was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Harmon Barrett. She was a 1962 graduate of Kittanning High School and 1965 graduate of Alleghany Valley Nursing School and retired from nursing in 1974.

She was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church. Often involved with Adoration and activities at the church.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Georgy, Williamsport; Matthew (Heather) Georgy, Mountville, Joshua (Chiara) Georgy, Media; three brothers, Thomas (Linda) Barrett,

Deland, FL, Daniel Barrett, New Orleans, LA, John Barrett, Brick Church, PA; one sister Dudan DeLuca, Long Branch, NJ. Catherine was predeceased by a sister, Mary Louise Barrett and a sister Judith Anne El Nabarawy.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February. 24, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1225 Northway Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701 with Fathers Shawn Simchock and John Victoria officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February, 23, 2025 at Kaufman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2102 Northway Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701 from 6 to 8:00 p.m.
