Peter B. Zeigler, 33

Peter B. Zeigler, 33, of South Williamsport, passed away tragically in an automobile accident on October 9, 2024. Born on January 10, 1991, he was the beloved son of Ralph E., Jr. and Lou Ann (Braden) Zeigler.

A 2009 graduate of South Williamsport High School, Peter pursued his interest in business and economics, earning a bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University. He had a variety of interests. A history buff, Peter was particularly fascinated with the American Revolution, reflecting narratives shaping our world.

Peter loved a good story, whether found in the pages of a book or the laughter-filled family gatherings. He was an avid video gamer and enjoyed weightlifting for many years. His family appreciated his culinary skills, including his baking and grilling. He loved a perfect steak! Peter’s character was defined by his willingness to help others. His kindness, caring nature, gentle demeanor, and sense of humor will undoubtedly be missed by those who loved him most.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his twin brother, Andrew B. Zeigler, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond; his aunts and uncles, Gloria Z. Greevy (Charles F., III); Robert W. McCullough, III; Alan S. Braden; Brian D. Braden (Mystica); several cousins, Charles F. “Chad” Greevy IV (wife Alysha, daughter Charley), Megan E. Boyle (husband Michael, sons Miles and Jack), Bethany L. Bondura (husband Brent, son Carter), Laura A. Baker (husband Kenneth, sons Kayden and Wyatt), and Nicholas Braden; numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family members (including Doris and Larry Kraft), dear friends, and the family’s beloved dog, Theo.

Peter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph E., Sr. and Elda C. Zeigler and Wayne H. and Elizabeth Ann M. Braden; his aunt, Barbara K. Z. McCullough; and dear family friends, Lena and Herbert Walker.
