Kathleen M. “Kathy” McCoy, 84, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born May 22, 1940 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Dorothy F. (Huntington) McCoy.

Kathy was a 1958 graduate of Danville High School and attended Bloomsburg University. She worked and later retired from UGI. She also worked part-time at Pat’s Grill in Danville.

Kathy enjoyed playing on her computer. She loved her cat, Jasmine, and cherished time spent with family and friends.

Surviving are her sister: June Kratzer, Danville; a nephew, Jan Moser and his wife Tina, Virginia; a niece, Lynn Parker and her husband Carl, Bloomsburg; as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews; including her namesake, Blaykslee Kathleen VanSickle.

Preceding her in death besides her parents were a nephew, Mark Moser, and niece, Karen Tapp.

There will be a visitation from 10-11AM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.
