Alison S. Hunter, 39

Alison S. Hunter, 39, passed away peacefully July 21, 2024 with her twin sister by her side.

Born February 28, 1985 she was a daughter of the late Kevin Weed and Lynette (Shipman) Toot. She grew up alongside her twin sister, Ashley Weed, and sister, Michelle Weed, forming an unbreakable bond that only sisters can understand. Alison’s heart grew twice as large when she became the devoted mother to her two sons, Isaiah Ritter and Blake Bree, who were the center of her world. She shared a loving partnership with her significant other, Ronald Brown. She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members.

Alison exemplified dedication and a strong work ethic. She served as a General Manager at Shoe Carnival, where her leadership and passion for her work were evident. She also contributed her talents as a clerk in the County Court House, where her attention to detail and warm personality made her a respected and valued colleague.

Alison had an insatiable zest for life, with interests that painted the picture of a woman who loved to embrace the world and all its beauty. Her love for traveling and vacations often found her by the ocean, a place where she felt most at peace. Fashion was not just a hobby for Alison; it was a form of self-expression. She had an impeccable eye for jewelry and could always be spotted in high heels, her hair and makeup done to perfection. Her sense of style was complemented by her love for a good clearance rack deal, showcasing her savvy shopping skills.

Although she may have appeared quiet and reserved at first, those who had the pleasure of getting to know Alison discovered her brilliant sense of humor. She was incredibly funny, with a wit that could light up a room. Her love was not reserved for her human companions alone; her dog, Tater, was a beloved member of her family, and she loved him fiercely.

A funeral service to honor the life of Alison will be held 6 p.m, Tuesday, July 30 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. A viewing will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at Sanders.
