Charles “Chuck” Ralph Schenck, 89, of Linden, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Born on April 8, 1935, in Roaring Creek, he was a son of the late Fred and Anna (Rousch) Schenck. Chuck retired in 2000 from Flowserve after 50 years of welding. He was a handyman who could fix anything he set his mind to. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on cars and splitting wood with his log splitter. If Chuck wasn’t puttering around the house, he loved gathering with family and friends. He was well known for his joking sense of humor and always being willing to help others in need. His love and kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Chuck leaves behind his loving wife of 68 years, Patricia (Fallon) Schenck; three daughters, Debra Schenck (Bill), Patricia DeParasis (Orlando), and Judith Shaffer (Paul); five grandchildren, Jessica Waltz (Andrew), Tyler Shaffer, Sara Shaffer, Lauren Ben and Charles Ben; two great-grandchildren, Greyson and Eliana Waltz; one brother, David Schenck (Jane); two sisters, Jane Long and Penny Pfleegor.

Along with his parents, Chuck was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Schenck, Jr.; a daughter Karen Marie Ben, and six siblings.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chuck’s name to Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd. Williamsport, PA 17701 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
