Timothy E. “Tim” Hess, 71, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
Tim was born April 18, 1953 in Williamsport, son of Robert C. “Bud” and Shirley E. (Hannen) Hess.
He was a graduate of Williamsport High School in 1972, and worked for most of his life at Anchor/Darling Valve, before retiring in 2017 from NuWeld as a welding inspector.
In his younger years, Tim enjoyed bowling and playing baseball. He was a sports fanatic and huge fan of the Reds and Rams. He also loved classic cars, movies, games and trivia, Christmastime, and most of all, spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife Jeanne, and his sister-in-law, Dot.
He is survived by his brother, Robert C. “Bob” Hess, Jr. of Jersey Shore, his niece Brandy Hess of Montoursville, his aunt and uncle Delores “Dee” and Leroy Pfirman of South Williamsport, and many wonderful cousins and friends.
“Timmers” was the life of every party — laughing, joking, making funny faces and sounds, pranking and picking on you — and nobody will ever forget how he would give you his famous Three Stooges-style “under the chin rub!”
