Jane M. Bouse, 91

Jane M. Bouse, 91

Jane M. Bouse, 91, of Williamsport, died Friday, June 21, 2024, at Rose View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born June 3, 1933, in Trenton, NJ, she was a daughter of Michael and Mary Jane (Winter) Prendergast.

Jane married Edward F. Bouse, Jr. on December 10, 1951, and shared 39 years of marriage.

Jane enjoyed spending time with family, cooking huge Sunday and holiday dinners, reading, bird watching, and riding motorcycle with family, friends and her late husband, Ed. In her younger years, Jane enjoyed quilting with her Pioneer friends, bowling with her husband, roller and ice skating and raising her children. She never quit being our mom.

If you knew our mom, you know we would need to write a very large book to summarize and honor her life. She was deeply loved by her family. She was an amazing woman, mother, Gigi, wife, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and friend. Those who knew her know, she was far more than we could have ever hoped for, prayed for, or deserved. She has touched countless lives and will be sorely missed. We love you Momma!

Jane is survived by daughters; Sharon E. Bouse, of Williamsport, Ellen M. (Harry) Worthington, of Montoursville, Jane M. (Bruce) Felter, of South Williamsport; Sons, John E. Bouse, of Hughesville, Steven M. Bouse, of Jersey Shore, William J. Bouse, of Montoursville, Edward T. (Regina) Bouse, of Montoursville, 21 grandchild, 26 great-grandchild, and one great great-grandson.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street Montoursville, with Pastor Mark A. Beard officiating. A burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27 at the funeral home.
