Terri L. Miley, 67, of Hughesville, died Sunday, May 19, 2024, at The Gatehouse At Divine Providence Hospital.

Born September 1, 1956, in Muncy, she was a daughter of Alfreda (Minnier) Sones of Glen Mawr, and the late James Sones. Terri was the widow of Daniel M. Miley, Jr., who preceded her in death on January 2, 2022.

Terri was a 1974 graduate of Hughesville High School. She worked at Sylvania in Montoursville, and then moved to New Hampshire where she worked for Sylvania for several years before moving back home and opening Terri’s Whoopie Pies Bakery. She enjoyed going to the beach with her husband. She also enjoyed doing crafts, bird watching, and antiques. Terri loved to spend time with her family, especially her grand-niece and grand-nephew, Abigail and Carter.

Surviving in addition to her mother Alfreda is a brother James Sones, of Hughesville; two nieces, Ashley Brown, of Hughesville, and Christina Sones, of Hughesville.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St. Hughesville, Pennsylvania, with Pastor Katherine A. Behrens and Rev. Dr. James R. Behrens officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Terri’s name to the Gatehouse, C/O Susquehanna Health Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
