Nancy L. Lowe, 83, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport. She was born on July 22, 1940, in Williamsport to the late Daniel and Betty (Hutchinson) Hunter.

Nancy worked as a caregiver for the elderly and as a homemaker. She also worked in various positions at Sylvania, Henry’s BBQ, and Williamsport Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, taking little naps, playing Yahtzee and talking on the phone. In her younger years, she enjoyed family camping trips. Nancy was a member of Central Baptist Church in Williamsport. She was married to her loving husband, Richard, who nicknamed her “Trunk”, for 35 years.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her husband Richard W. Lowe; sons, Harold (Rebecca) Hively of Montoursville and Danny (Timi Lindstrom) Hively of Woolrich; daughters, Cathy (Gordy) Hauser of Jersey Shore and Cindy Lehman of Montoursville; grandchildren, Patrick, Jenifer, and Adam Almeida; Amber Hively, Jennifer Stugart, Justine Hauser, Steven Jackson and Paul Hively, Jr.; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Rick (Jenny) Hunter and Nick (Gloria) Hunter; sister, Dottie Vankleek; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by a son, Paul Hively, Sr.; a grandson, Jason Hauser; and granddaughters, Jamie Jackson and Lindsie Stover.
