Join Sojourner Truth for their Health/Resource fair on Wednesday, May 22 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Rain or shine, outside and inside at 501 High St., Williamsport.

There are many great organizations who will be represented, many are offering hands-on “life hacks” for visitors. There is something for all ages, from babies to seniors.

A special and unusual Therapy Animal will be present for interacting, as well as agencies assisting with mental health, substance issues, blood pressure checks, limited vaccines, stress reduction techniques, healthy food samples, emotional health, and functional eye care — to name a few.

There will also be door prizes, networking, and learning, support.

Come around 11:30 a.m. for a meal!

Sojourner Truth Ministries is predominantly known for its soup kitchen services, serving nearly 30,000 lunches last year. Meals are given Mon-Sat 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., with Saturdays offering Dinner Church first. This is a place where the community is welcome!

Other services include:

– After School Kids – Wednesday and Thursday after school – games, meal, homework help, Bible story, craft, and more (3:30 p.m.-5 p.m.) with Tuesdays as learning support.

– The House of Hope – a Christ-based residential program for women leaving homelessness, and the first graduate is celebrating early June.
