Michael A. “Mike” Cole, 69

Michael A. “Mike” Cole, 69, of Cogan Station, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 9, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport. Surviving is his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Marie C. (Kitchen) Cole.

Born December 25, 1954, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Max and Evelyn (Reber) Cole.

Mike was a 1973 graduate of Williamsport Area High School and attended Vo-Tech for construction. Mike retired from Thermal Product Solutions, New Columbia after several years as a welder.

Mike enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing golf and fast-pitch softball in his younger years. He was past president of the Susquehanna BowMen archery club and several bass fishing organizations.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children Echo L. Tawney (Jerry) of Williamsport, Amanda J. Cole (Dan Donella) of Avis, and Paul M. Cole (Elizabeth) of Williamsport; eight grandchildren Tricia, J.T., James, Jordan, Chevelle, Kolton, Natalie, and Calvin; two great-grandchildren Lakota and Hunter; a sister Misty Graybill (Mark) of Linden; two brothers-in-law Kevin Kitchen (Melody) and Darren Kitchen (Tara) both of Roaring Branch; a sister-in-law Sharon Kitchen of Williamsport; many nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and close friends Terry and Randy Stahl.

In keeping with his wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
