Nancy A. Bullock, 76

Nancy A. Bullock, 76, of Williamsport, passed away on December 4, 2023, at home surrounded by family. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Jonathan S. Bullock.

Born November 24, 1947, in Kingston, she was a daughter of Martha (Boinske) Aston and the late William Aston.

A proud alumna of Penn State University, Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in education and remained a lifelong PSU fanatic. Nancy’s passion for education was evident in her long and distinguished career as a teacher at Lose Elementary in the Williamsport Area School District. For 32 years, she touched the lives of countless students with her knowledge, patience, and nurturing spirit.

Nancy’s interests and hobbies were as varied as they were numerous. She was an avid doll collector and enjoyed yarn crafts and working puzzles. Bethany Beach was one of her favorite vacation destinations, where she could relax in the sand with a great book to read. Occasionally, she would play mobile games and invite family and friends to join her in the fun. Above all, her granddaughters, who affectionately called Nancy “Grammy”, were the epicenter of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to her husband and her mother, Nancy is survived by two sons, Jason R. (Cortney) Bullock and Kristofer S. Bullock; three granddaughters, Ava Jane, Nadia Lee, and Maddison Mae; a sister, Debbie Faulkner (Jack); and her beloved Pomeranian, Tyson, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father and her sister Christine Wilcox.

A memorial service to honor Nancy’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. The family will receive friends prior from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday, December 28, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA. or the Salvation Army, 457 Market St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
