Donna R. Hoover, 53, of Cogan Station, passed away unexpectedly Thurs. October 26, 2023 at UPMC Williamsport.
Born July 14, 1970, she was a daughter of the late Terry Hoover and Dolores “Dee” Hoover (Jay Chaapel), of South Williamsport.
Feisty yet friendly, Donna’s spirit made her a force to be reckoned with. She was a proud lifetime auxiliary member of VFW Post 7863, Duboistown. She was an enthusiastic gambler, often spending hours at the slot machines, relishing the thrill of the game. Donna loved to go on long car rides, always with her music blaring. She enjoyed trips to the beach, camping, and going on cruises.
Above all else, Donna was a devoted partner, sister, daughter, and aunt. Family meant everything to her. Her mother was her best friend and her nieces and nephews were her pride and joy.
In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her significant other of 33 years, Richard Dye; three sisters, Debra Wright (Timothy), of South Williamsport, Teresa Willets (Richard), of Cogan Station, and Katherine Hoover, of Linden; two half-brothers, Mark Croucher, of Hughesville, and Terry Hoover, of Muncy; three nephews, Michael, Rocky, and Coty; four nieces, Cherokee, Moranda, Nicole, and Megan; and seven great- nieces and nephews, Trey, Hunter, Brayden “Monkey,” Jaxx “Doobie,” Shane, Tegan, and Addie “Peanut.” She was predeceased by her loving dog, Boogylee, and is survived by her dog, DD.
