Bobbie Jo Hunsinger, 44, of Lock Haven, passed away Friday, December 24, 2022 at her home.

Born September 22, 1978, she was the daughter of the late John W. Hunsinger and Mary McKinney.

Bobbie Jo attended Jersey Shore Area Schools until her family relocated to South Carolina where she graduated from Lexington Area High School.

She was employed as an in-home personal care provider, passionately serving many local people over the years.

Bobbie Jo had a huge heart and personality that resonated with anyone who crossed her path. She had a special love for children and was always caring for and involved with the children in her extended family. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed interacting with any and all pets she encountered.

Bobbie Jo is survived by her uncle, Jeffrey McKinney of Avis; six cousins: Holly (Anthony) Gillott of Flemington, Lori (Carl Johnson) Peluso of Lock Haven, Tracie (Douglas) Heller of Clintondale and their daughter, Hannah, Missy Confer of Lock Haven, Scott (Wanda) Peluso of Mill Hall and Pat (Michelle) Peluso, Jr. of Mocanaqua.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sarah Hunsinger; maternal grandparents, Gordon and Alva Steffey McKinney; and her very close aunt, Carol Peluso.

A Celebration of Bobbie Jo’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from Noon to 4 P.M. at the Moose Lodge Family Center, 150 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven, PA 17745 with Jason Schrack officiating a service at 12:30 P.M.
