Boys and girls, you’re about to behold a sight so fluffy, so delightful, so utterly adorable, that I urge those of you who are easily tickled or prone to the giggles to look the other way — but if you are still here, step right up, everyone has a chance to win a prize!
As we patiently wait for spring to make its full arrival, it’s time to start our second annual Easter Egg Hunt contest! Most of you are familiar with how this works. It works the same as our Halloween contest.
Sprinkled throughout this issue, you will find a variety of Easter Eggs. Find all the eggs you can! The rules of the game are simple. Count up all the Easter Eggs you find in March 30th and April 6th editions of the paper. Then take the total of the two weeks together and send them to me. Easy as pie…
I will then take everyone who answered correctly and pick ten random winners. Winners will receive an Easter basket full of goodies big enough to make the Easter Bunny himself jealous!
The easiest way to enter the contest is to email the answer to contest@webbweekly.com, or you can drop a postcard in the snail mail at Webb Weekly, 280 Kane St., Suite 2, South Williamsport, PA 17702. Or, if you are so inclined, you can drop your entry off at our office; we are open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Entries must be submitted by April 8th around noon or so, and only one entry per person. Winners will be listed in the April 13th edition. But I’ll call or email the winners before that.
Remember, the contest is only open to kiddos 12 and under.
Each year we rotate through the local animal shelters and donate $1 for each entry received. This time around is the Lycoming County SPCA’s turn, so let’s help the sweet fur babies! Be sure to get your entries in and help support a great cause. Plus, ya know — candy. So. Much. Candy.
So, look carefully and count them up! I get a little sneaky when I place them, so make sure you check every page closely!

First and foremost, I want to congratulate the St. John Neumann boys’ basketball team! What an incredible season! It may not have ended how y’all hoped, but there is so much to be proud of! We have lots of info about the team and season this week! Jimmy kicked us off on page 2, Dave Bellomo has more on page 6, and we also have some words from Head Coach Jamie Spencer on page 68. We even have two articles that were recently featured in Neumann News, the newspaper at SJNRA. They are on page 52. #NeumannProud.
Also big in this week’s issue is, of course, the West Branch Susquehanna Builder’s Show! Lou has all the details starting on page 38 but be sure to get out and check out the Show this weekend! Anything and everything you have planned or didn’t know you needed for house and home can be found at the Show this weekend!
