James (Jimmy) M. Gordon V, age 2, of Goldsboro, NC, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 in the Janet Weis Children’s Center at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
He was born on April 18, 2019 in Raleigh, NC, the son of James M. Gordon IV and Nicole M. (Burkhart) Gordon.
Jimmy was very much loved by his family. He loved life and has been described as a “spitfire”. Jimmy enjoyed playing with his sisters and really loved dinosaurs.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Darla F. Burkhart.
Surviving in addition to his parents are sister’s, Christina Gordon (17) and Leia Gordon (3) at home; Paternal Grandparents, James Gordon III and Janet Gordon of Raleigh, NC, and Carolyn Bratcher of Goldsboro, NC; and Maternal Grandfather, David L. Burkhart of Montoursville, PA; his God Parents, Wesley and Jessica Cannon of Goldsboro, NC as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pastor David W. Trostle of Farragut Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Montoursville, PA has been providing spiritual support and friendship to the family.
A celebration of his life will be held privately.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
