After three years of ‘Making the Impossible Possible,’ the team at My Vision 9 Foundation is pleased to announce funding of $75,000 from the AllOne Foundation. These funds support the welfare of those most likely to “fall through the cracks” and provide a streamlined collaborative approach to access behavioral and mental health services empowering participants to take better care of what they and their families need. A check presentation will be celebrated with a press conference on June 17 at 2 p.m. in the offices located at 400 West Market Street, Suite 4, Williamsport, PA.
Founded by Chanelle Johnson-Edwards, My Vision 9 Foundation is a non-profit organization that offers multifaceted services to diverse populations, including at-risk youth, male/female offenders, homeless persons, and those with substance abuse issues. It is through the collaborative process of both the professional and the participant that allows both parties to draw out the participant’s strengths and assets to develop a plan conducive to healthy living.
My vision 9 has been serving the Williamsport area since 2018, providing referrals to mental health and counseling agencies, transportation to and from hospital visits, assistance with applying for medical benefits and scheduling routine physicals, mediation, and one-on-one coaching and support to help individuals achieve their highest potential.
The AllOne Foundation, headquartered in Wilkes-Barre, works with others or independently to enhance the present healthcare delivery system in Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania and offers innovative, collaborative opportunities to improve area residents’ health and welfare. Its five impact areas of focus include Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, Autism, Opioid Solutions, and Food Security initiatives.
