Mitchell “Mitch” R. Hoffman, 70, of Loyalsock Township, died on March 28, 2021, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.

He was born on June 26, 1950, in Williamsport, the son of the late C. Raymond and Celia A. (Ryder) Hoffman.

Mitchell was a member of St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church, attended Faxon Kenmar United Methodist Church as well as Newelltwon United Methodist Church, was Volunteer of the Year for C.A.P.A. He also loved cats and word search puzzles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Esther Hoffman and step-brother, Layton Keiser.

Surviving are a brother, George (Marcia) Hoffman and their children, Sharon and Marci Hoffman; sister, Carol Kilpatrick and her children, Sandra Nicoles, Robert Kilpatrick III, and Michael Kilpatrick; and step-brother, Walter Kaiser.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, April 1, 2021, 11:30 in Twin Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Ann Runnels officiating.

There will be a walk-through viewing on Thursday, 10-11:00 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, PA 17754.

Following Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required.
