William H. McKissick, Jr., 78, of Williamsport, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at UPMC Williamsport.
He was born April 10, 1942, in Lock Haven, the son of William H. Sr., and Eleanor (Jeirles) McKissick.
He as a Marine Veteran, a member of Plumber & Steam Fitters Local 112, the Y.M.R.C., enjoyed fishing, football, especially the Pittsburg Steelers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, the former Marjorie D. Persun; grandson, Chase McKissick; five sisters, Augusta Crum, Shirley Vassalo, Linda Bryant, Martha Smith, and Barbara Pacacha.
Surviving is three sons, William H. McKissick III, of Duboistwon, Jeff A. McKissick, of Loyalsock Township, and Brad V. (Lannie) McKissick, of Vestal, N.Y.; daughter, Lisa R. (Robert) Dayton, of Binghampton, N.Y.; brother, John R. (Carol) McKissick, of South Williamsport; sister, Paulette (Chip) Lindenmuth, of Williamsport; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, October 16, 11:30 a.m. at Twin Hills Memorial Park.
There will be a visitation for family and friends on Friday, 10-11 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, PA 17754.
In lieu of flower, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E 3rd Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
