Helen M. (Christian) Booth, 88, of Linden, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Watsontown Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was married to the late Melvin V. Booth in 1952. He passed away in 1994.

Helen was born on October 26, 1931 in Jersey Shore and was the daughter of the late Elton and Erma R. (McKean) Christian. She graduated from Jersey Shore High School. Helen retired from Brodart after 40 years of employment. Helen was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jersey Shore, then Church of the Savior in Williamsport. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a strong Christian faith and in her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and sewing.

Helen is survived by one son; Victor Booth (Barb) of Williamsport, five daughters; Cherl Kling (Harry) of Lewisburg, Diane Bubb (Brad) of Lairdsville, Dorothy Campbell (Gary) and Mary Meckley (Rod), all of Kansas and Erma Hill (David) of Texas, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and two sisters; Ruth Ann Quiggle (John) of Fairfield, TX and Eleanor Alexander of Somerville, TX. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son; Clifford Booth, two brothers; Bob and Dale Christian and one sister; Doris Cook.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, PA (everyone is to meet at the cemetery).

Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
