Kenneth G. “Kenny” Lowe, 78, of Fairfield Township, died July 24, 2020, at his residence.
He was born May 31, 1942, in Shamokin, a son of the late Bert I. and Susanna E. (Lewis) Lowe.
On August 28, he would have celebrated 21 years of marriage with the former Sharon “Sue” Baker.
Kenny was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He was past commander of Muncy American Legion Post 268, Dept. of PA 16th District American Legion Deputy commander, past commander of Muncy VFW 3428, Muncy Legion Honor Guard, Lycoming County Veterans Council, IBEW 1319, Laborers Local 158, and past president of Lycoming Creek Anglers.
He enjoyed his two shih tzu, Tara and Wishbone, loved carpentry, fishing, hunting, golf, baseball games, taught line dancing for years, and Dale Earnhardt. What he enjoyed the most was spending time with his Legion family, friends, and Cuba Libres.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mahlon “Spike” Lowe; sister, Shirley Ward; and infant daughter, Lori Susanna.
Surviving along with his wife are children, Lisa Fiest, of Elmira, NY and Karen (Rick) Miller, of Montgomery; and grandchildren, Jessica and Kaitlyn Miller, of Montgomery, and Jacob and Victoria (Tori) Feist, of Elmira.
A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 29 in Green Lawn Memorial Park with military honors accorded. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville.
