Dale R. Grimm, 70, a resident of Montgomery, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 in The Gatehouse at Williamsport. Born Saturday, July 30, 1949 in Muncy Creek Twp., Lycoming Co., PA, he was a son of the late Thomas A. and Betty J. (Bennett) Grimm. He was the husband of Linda K. (LaForme) Grimm with whom he celebrated a 30th wedding anniversary on June 30, 2019.

Dale retired from Leer Truck Caps where he was employed as the plant manager. He had previously been employed for 30 years by Grumman’s as the director of manufacturing.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and running his beagles. He was a life member of the Lycoming Co. Beagle Club. Dale especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Brad A. and wife Amanda Grimm of Allenwood, PA; Todd and wife Nicole Grimm of Montgomery, PA; Scott R. Grimm and girlfriend Anne Wagner of Montgomery, PA; Lisa A. Belisle of Montgomery, PA; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Thomas R. Grimm of Williamsport, PA; one sister, Kathy and husband Earl Carson of Allenwood, PA and one sister-in-law, Vickie Grimm of Hughesville, PA. Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa M. Lund; two grandsons, Andrew Grimm and Michael Grimm, his sister, Diane Persing and his brother, Larry Grimm who passed away on Sunday, April 5.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, a celebration of Dale’s life will be held at a later date with the date, place and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation of Central PA, 1500 Paxton Street, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
