Well, well, well — if it isn’t Christmas sneaking up on me once again. I swear, I am not a procrastinator by nature, and really, I’m further ahead in all things Christmas than I normally am, but it just takes me a little longer than some to find my holly jolly. I have actually started my Christmas shopping, I’ve completed one Christmas craft, and by the time you read this, I’ll have my Christmas tree. So, I guess all in all that’s not so bad for mid-December!

Blaise Alexander Family Dealership’s Christmas Coloring Contest…

Holy moly! We are getting a ton of entries for our Christmas Coloring Contest! Thank you so much to all the kids who entered! Cupcake, Merry, and Noel are still hard at work sorting and judging all the entries. Marshmallow, however, is a different story. She’s…well, the last I saw her she was wandering Candy Cane Lane looking for a snack and a place to nap. The others have given up and settled that she’s just not meant for the Coloring Contest life. She’s also been spotted at Brandon Park, but I heard she was caught trying to climb the Bandshell for a better view of the Holiday Market last weekend and was sent back to Santa’s house downtown for a stern talking to.

In the meantime, Cupcake, Merry, and Noel have locked themselves in the conference room and are working hard. I think anyway. To be honest the windows are totally covered in spray snow and glitter, so I don’t know for sure what is happening in there. I’m fairly sure they are subsiding on hot chocolate and gingerbread and I just hope that they aren’t buried under all the entries.

We will be announcing the winners of the contest in the December 25th edition, so there is still time to get your entries in. Also, as you are out and about this holiday season, please don’t forget about those less fortunate than yourselves. The Salvation Army, American Rescue Workers, Toys for Tots, Family Promise, the Lycoming County United Way, the Central PA Food Bank and more can all use extra help during the holidays, so if you are able, please keep them in mind for Christmas donations. Tis the season of giving and there are a lot of people out there who could use an extra hand, not just at Christmas but throughout the year!

While you are out shopping or having a holiday visit, and you happen to spot Marshmallow, can you please remind her that she has to be back in the office by the 23rd? Santa still needs her for last minute Christmas doings at the North Pole.
