Robert (Bob) J. Rosemeier, 80

Robert (Bob) J. Rosemeier left this world for eternal peace on November 18, 2019. Born on January 1, 1939 in Bell Acres, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Henry and Marion Rosemeier.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mary L. Rosemeier who passed away in 2006. Together Bob and Mary purchased Economy Auto Parts in Lock Haven, and continued to develop their business to include multiple auto parts stores in Central Pennsylvania as well as the Lock Haven Warehouse and The Collision Center. Upon retirement, Bob contracted with Poorman & Group to manage his business holdings in Florida, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

The Lock Haven Dialysis Center was also constructed by Bob and Mary. When Mary needed weekly dialysis, Bob decided that too many Clinton County residents were faced with long trips for dialysis treatments. He constructed the Lock Haven Dialysis Center on Hanna Street in Lock Haven so that other patients would have local treatment options.

Bob and Mary were involved in numerous boards, committees and partnerships together in the Lock Haven area.

Bob is survived by his two sons, Mark (Brenda) Rosemeier of Lock Haven, and Dan (Paula) Pettit of North Carolina, two grandchildren, Kassi Rosemeier of Lock Haven and Christopher (Silvia) Pettit of Florida, and one great-granddaughter, Violet, also of Florida. He is also survived by his two sisters, Marion and Bessie, of Ambridge, Pennsylvania, along with multiple nieces and nephews. In 2008, Bob married LorrieAnn Pendola Rosemeier, and is survived by his wife, five step children, two grandchildren and one fat cat.

Bob enjoyed co-piloting his airplane and boating in the Atlantic. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

An informal Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 1st from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm at the Lock Haven Loyal Order of Moose, 150 South Hanna Street, Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.

Memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made through the funeral home to Susque-View Home Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High Street, Flemington, PA 17745.
