Cutters Statement Regarding Future Fireworks Shows

On July 5, due to weather and a game delay of over 2 hours, the Williamsport Crosscutters had a regularly scheduled fireworks show that began at approximately 11:40pm.

First and foremost, we would like to apologize to those living near/around the ballpark for the noise caused by the fireworks, at what we agree is a late hour. Unfortunately, we experienced a rain delay of just over 2 hours during the game, while heavy rains passed through our area. This delay of the game obviously delayed our planned post-game fireworks display.

During the rain delay, Cutters senior management met to discuss our options knowing that if the show were to take place, it would be close to 11:30pm before the fireworks would begin. We also knew that moving forward with the fireworks would cause some consternation with those in the vicinity of the ballpark.

After much discussion and debate, we unanimously agreed that we had an obligation to our 2,000+ fans that purchased tickets to the game partly on the basis of a long-advertised post-game fireworks display as well as an obligation to the sponsors of the game. After that in-house determination, we then consulted with multiple city officials, apprised them of the situation and received their blessing to move forward with the show as long as it concluded by midnight, which was the case.

Moving forward, we have implemented a policy that no fireworks show sponsored by the Williamsport Crosscutters can begin after 11pm. Again, we sincerely apologize for this disruption to our BB&T Ballpark neighbors.
Mussina Charity Autograph Session & Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages

The Crosscutters have announced a special charity autograph signing with newly elected baseball Hall of Famer, Mike Mussina. The session will take place at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field on July 25 when the Cutters honor him on Mike Mussina Night featuring a special bobblehead for the first 1,000 fans of Mussina in a Hall of Fame uniform.

Autograph passes can be purchased for $20 with all monies donated to Lycoming County Special Olympics and K’s For Cancer. The autograph session will be limited to a maximum of 200 guests and very few passes remain available. Fans with autograph passes can bring any item they choose to be signed. There is a strict limit of one item and one pass per person.

All fans must have a ticket to the July 25 game to participate in the autograph session. Tickets are not included in the package and must be purchased separately.

The Crosscutters are also selling a very limited number of Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages for bobblehead giveaways taking place during the 2019 season.
