Due to a conflict with the start of the NBA Summer League, Alize Johnson will be unable to appear in-person at his bobblehead giveaway scheduled for July 6. In a statement, the Crosscutters said, “We are sorry to announce that Alize will be unable to appear due to a scheduling conflict. We realize that many people were looking forward to seeing him in person on the night of his bobblehead giveaway. The promotion will still take place on July 6th with the first 1,000 fans receiving an Alize Johnson bobblehead presented by Real Life Graphics and KISS 102.7. The Crosscutters want to thank Alize and his management team for all their help and cooperation with this event and we hope to have him at a future game during the 2019 season.”
9th Annual Cutters 5K Race THIS SATURDAY!

The Williamsport Crosscutters, in partnership with Hope Enterprises, will be holding the 9th Annual Cutters 5K on Saturday, June 29th at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.

The race, through Williamsport’s West End, begins at 9am with registration open at 8am. The course has runners starting outside the ballpark entrance with the final sprint around the field on the stadium’s warning track. Both runners and walkers are encouraged to take part in the event. All proceeds from this year’s event will go to benefit Hope Enterprises TeenLink.

Registration is $20 per person and runners can register on race day starting at 8am.
Mussina Charity Autograph Session & Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages

The Crosscutters have announced a special charity autograph signing with newly elected baseball Hall of Famer, Mike Mussina. The session will take place at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field on July 25 when the Cutters honor him on Mike Mussina Night featuring a special bobblehead for the first 1,000 fans of Mussina in a Hall of Fame uniform.

Autograph passes can be purchased for $20 with all monies donated to Lycoming County Special Olympics and K’s For Cancer. The autograph session will be limited to a maximum of 200 guests and very few passes remain available. Fans with autograph passes can bring any item they choose to be signed. There is a strict limit of one item and one pass per person.

All fans must have a ticket to the July 25 game to participate in the autograph session. Tickets are not included in the package and must be purchased separately.

The Crosscutters are also selling a very limited number of Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages for bobblehead giveaways taking place during the 2019 season. These packages guarantee fans a bobblehead without having to arrive early to the ballpark and wait in long lines or possibly miss out on being one of the first 1,000 fans through the gates to receive the giveaway.

The following 2019 Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages are still available:

• July 6 – Guaranteed Alize Johnson Bobblehead & $10 Food Voucher. Cost-$20

Cutters Roster Moves

The Crosscutters made a number of roster moves in the past week:

RHP Luis Ramierz joined the Cutters from Lakewood (A). Ramirez led the NYPL with 11 saves in 2017 and was named to the league’s All-Star Team. Ramirez also saw time with Williamsport in 2018.

Also added to the Cutters roster were the following 2019 draft picks:

• 1B Rudy Rott (9th round/Ohio University)
• 3B McCarthy Tatum (10th round/Fresno State)
