Steven F. “Steve” Walters, 69, of Muncy, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Pamela A. “Pam” Walters, on June 11, 2018.
Born Aug. 20, 1949, in Jersey Shore, he was a son of the late Chester and Adele (Trimble) Walters.
Steve was a 1967 graduate of Muncy High School. He was formerly employed with Stroehmann’s Bakery for 15 years and later retired from Advance Drainage Systems, Muncy. Steve was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering in his garage and working on cars.
Surviving are three sons, William T. Walters (Kristie), of Unityville, Steven M. Walters (Michelle), of Muncy, and Gregory S. Walters (Crista), of Esland, N.C.; five grandchildren, Wesley, Casandra, Aiden, Eric and Bailey Walters; a sister-in-law, Candace Walters, of Montgomery; and a brother-in-law, Charles Kerns, of Hughesville.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Walters, and a sister, Kathy Kern.
In keeping with his wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
