Rachel L. Tilburg, 87, of Plunketts Creek Township, died Dec. 28, 2018 surrounded by her family, at AristaCare at Loyalsock Township.
She was born May 12, 1931, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Ransom and Marion (Fox) Hepburn.
Rachel enjoyed crocheting, working in her yard on flowers, baking, and she loved her family.
In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Gene Tilburg; a son, Jeffrey; a great-granddaughter, Sidney Tilburg; two brothers, and seven sisters.
Surviving are a son, Charles (Tina) Tilburg, of Florida; two daughters, Jeanne (Dan) Confer, of Plunketts Creek Township and Kathy (Scott) Rhodes, of South Carolina; two sisters, Blanche Digan, and Gloria (Bill) Caputo, both of Williamsport; five grandchildren, and seven Great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, with Rev. Richard M. Barner officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
