Formed in 2015 by Berklee College of Music graduate and Uptown Music Collective alumni Gabe Stillman, the trio has quickly risen on the scene and continues gaining momentum, performing regularly at the Lancaster Roots & Blues Festival, the Destination Blues Fest, the Billtown Blues Festival and more. In the short time that Gabe has been performing professionally, he has had the pleasure of opening shows for world-class blues acts such as George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Chicago powerhouse Toronzo Cannon, Louisiana bluesman Tab Benoit, and Legendary blues and roots band The Nighthawks. Regionally, they play to standing-room-only crowds of appreciative blues fans, and will soon again be “on the road” performing regularly in Virginia, New York state, and North Carolina.
Fronted by Stillman on guitar and vocals, the band also features bassist Colin Beatty and drummer Jesse Roedts. While the trio’s sound is unmistakably rooted in American Blues, the band draws from influences of soul, R&B, and funk. The Gabe Stillman Band’s mission for every performance is to give their all, give their best, and engage those who gave of their time and money to experience the band for an evening of entertainment.
