The 12th Annual Skip Hunsinger Children’s Christmas Spectacular Returns to the Community Arts Center as a Holiday Gift to the Community!

It’s that time again…The 12th Annual Skip Hunsinger Children’s Christmas Spectacular is scheduled for Saturday, December 8th at 10:00 a.m.

FREE Tickets will be given out at 10 a.m. on November 24th ONLY. Children’s tickets are for people 12 years old and younger. Everyone else will receive an adult ticket. Tickets will be given out on a first come, first serve basis in the lobby at the Community Arts Center. Each child attending the Christmas Spectacular must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian and the children and the adults will all need tickets to enter the event.

This special event was originally organized by Skip Hunsinger and Frank “Whitey” Missigman when they proposed that the CAC’s volunteers sponsor an annual event which was a revival of Christmas parties sponsored at the Capitol Theater from the late 30’s to 60’s. Every year the CAC Volunteer Corps works year round to raise funds to support this event. The 2018 event will include a performance by Uptown Music Collective, a reading of How The Grinch Stole Christmas, a performance by puppeteers Kingdom Kidz, a performance from The Nutcracker ballet, a bike raffle and randomly drawn door prizes for youngsters! And of course — SANTA will be on site for pictures and to collect your personal Christmas lists.
