Attention boys and girls! It is time once again for Webb Weekly’s annual Halloween contest! We are taking this year’s contest back to it’s roots. The very first year we did this we counted Candy Corn, so we are going OG this year. I’m sure you know how this works, but just in case you forgot, let me refresh your memory.

Scattered throughout this issue you will find a variety of Candy Corn. All you need to do is count them — easy peasy. Then do the same thing next week — lemon squeezy. Take those two numbers, add them together and then send me your total. Remember, I am looking for the total number of Candy Corn in the October 17th and October 24th editions.

I will then take everyone who answered correctly and pick 10 random winners. Winners will receive a bucket full of goodies big enough to give you several cavities! Seriously, I should be apologizing to local dentists — or maybe asking for a cut!

The easiest way to enter the contest to is to email the answer to contest@webbweekly.com, or you can drop a post card in the snail mail at Webb Weekly, 280 Kane St., Suite 2, South Williamsport, PA 17702. Or, if you are so inclined, you can drop your entry off at our office, we are open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Entries must be submitted by Oct. 26th (not 19th, as previously printed) around noon or so and only one entry per person. Winners will be listed in the Oct. 31st edition. But I’ll call or email the winners prior to that.

Remember the contest is only open to kiddos 12 and under.

Previously, each year we alternated donating a dollar to either the SPCA or LAPS for each entry we received. But this year we have decided to switch it up, and Beckoning Cat Project will be the recipient of the donation. Be sure to get your entries in and help support a great cause. Plus ya know…candy. So. Much. Candy.

So look carefully and count them up! I get a little sneaky when I place them, so make sure you check every page closely!
