Cutters Partnering with LiveSource for In-Stadium Auctions

The Williamsport Crosscutters have announced a partnership with LiveSource to utilize fan engagement in a mobile auction platform for the 2018 season. The Cutters will utilize the LiveSource mobile app to offer fans opportunities for their charitable jersey and cap auctions. The LiveSource app will provide a better experience for fans bidding at the ballpark, as the entire process can be done via a smartphone or tablet. Fans who are not in attendance will have the opportunity to bid through the app as well, eliminating the standard of in-person bidding. Payment, winning, bidding and delivery is all facilitated on mobile devices through the LiveSource app and website. The Crosscutters have charitable jersey auctions scheduled for July 22 (Law Enforcement Appreciation), July 29 (Military Appreciation) and August 9 (Cutters Throwback Jerseys). Timber Night- July 20

The Keystone Wood Products Assoc. (KWPA) will host “Timber Night with the Crosscutters” on Friday, July 20 as the Cutters host the West Virginia Black Bears at 7:05 p.m. On that night fans can learn about the rich history of the wood products industry in our area. The first 500 fans will receive a limited edition wood coaster to commemorate the event. Each coaster will have a unique number that will give fans an opportunity to win special prizes donated by KWPA members, including a special Gilson snowboard. In addition, the Pennsylvania WoodMobile will be outside the stadium for fans to visit prior to entering the stadium. The Pennsylvania WoodMobile is a traveling exhibit that provides information on the state’s forest resource and the state’s forest products industry. Visitors to the exhibit will see how the forests of Pennsylvania have shaped the history of the state and nation, learn how today’s forest differs from 100 years ago, touch the various hardwood species produced in Pennsylvania, and use touchscreen technology to interact with various threats to the forests such as invasive insects and plants, diseases and white-tailed deer.
