Andrew L. Emrick, 81, of Montoursville, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his home. He was born September 13, 1936 in Sunbury, a son of Leroy and Catherine Kreider Emrick.

Andy retired from Pickelner Fuel. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, was a life member of the Willing Hand Hose Fire Co., Montoursville where he was a past President and Treasurer, was a member, and past Financial Secretary of the PA Fire Association, and a member of the America’s Hose Fire Co. in Sunbury.

He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Mark and brother, Arthur.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years the former Carol C. Crossley; Son, Mike (Lisa) Emrick of Sunbury; daughters, Michelle (Anthony) Benner of Phoenxville, Maxann (John) Daugherty of Montoursville and eight grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville with Chaplain Robert D. Banner, Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment will follow in the Montoursville Cemetery. A viewing for friends and family will be held Wednesday afternoon from 1 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
