Sorta…
Every. Dang. Year. Every year I swear I am going to start early and get everything done and just enjoy the season. Consider this year yet another fail. I am once again so far behind the 8-ball, it’s sitting in a different room — #ChristmasFail. On the upside, this happens every year, and every year I manage to pull it off, so I’ll be OK.
Hopefully, I’ll at least get started this weekend…
How about you? Have you found your Christmas spirit yet? Are your halls decked and your trees flocked?
Blaise Alexander Family Dealership’s Christmas Coloring Contest…
Holy moly! We are getting a ton of entries for our Christmas Coloring Contest! Thank you so much to all the kids who entered! Cocoa GlitterCakes, Merry FizzyCheer, and Happy JingleDoodle are still hard at work sorting and judging all the entries. Merry, however — well, there is always one that I find running amok in town instead of doing their job! She’s been bouncing up and down Candy Cane Lane. I even heard that she she’s been spotted on top of the Bandshell admiring the lights in Brandon Park! Once again, if you see her out and about, maybe bring her back to the office? Just be warned. She’s…a lot.
At least Cocoa and Happy are getting some work done. At least I think they are. Honestly, I’m not even sure. They all bounce around so much, it’s hard to keep track of them, and they are still using the pneumatic tube from the office to Candy Cane Lane they set up a couple of years ago due to COVID.
We will be announcing the winners of the contest in the December 21st edition, so there is still time to get your entries in. If you need extra coloring pages stop in the office, or you can find printable copies on our website – webbweekly.com or on our Facebook page (it’s pinned to the top of the page).
I also want to send another thank you to all of those supplying our great prizes! This year we have prizes from Flyworld, English Model Railroad, Elery Nau, Hooplas, Treasure Castle Playland, Harder Sporting Goods, AMC Theaters, Dairy Queen, Trout Pond Park and Faxon Bowling! You can drop them off in the office or mail them to:

Also, as you are out and about this holiday season, please don’t forget about those less fortunate than yourselves. The Salvation Army, American Rescue Workers, Toys for Tots, Family Promise, the Lycoming County United Way, the Central PA Food Bank and more can all use extra help during the holidays, so if you are able, please keep them in mind for Christmas donations. Tis the season of giving and there are a lot of people out there who could use an extra hand, not just at Christmas but throughout the year!
While you are out shopping or having a holiday visit, and you happen to spot Cocoa, can you please remind her that she has to be back in the office by the 23rd? Santa still needs her for last minute Christmas doings at the North Pole.
