Leonard R. Bellott, 97, formerly of South Williamsport, passed at Celebration Villa of Loyalsock on June 3, 2026.
He was born on January 8, 1929 in Williamsport, the last surviving son of Anthony E. and Clementina (Iannone) Bellotti.
Leonard was a long-time member of the St. Joseph the Worker Parish, and retired as a store manager for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. He was a proud US Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War.
His wife of 15 years, the former Louise Maggi, preceded him in death in May 1969.
Leonard is survived by their children, Leonard “Lenny” (Mary Lee “Lee”) Bellott of Williamsport, Anthony “Tony” (Wendy) Bellott of Collomsville, Mary (Scott) McFadden of Cogan Station, and Richard “Rick” (Vicki) Bellott of Loyalsock Twp.; grandchildren Stacey Jamison, Jason Bellott, Chad Bellott, Nathan McFadden, Christine McFadden, Alex Bellott, and Stephanie Leiby; as well as great grandchildren, Kieran, Rowan, Riley, Aidan, Ruby, Violet, Wyatt, Marlee, and Savannah.
In addition to his wife and parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Joseph, John, Henry, Anthony, and Frederick Bellott; sisters Mary Paolucci, Margaret Bellott, and Lucille Martin.
The family will receive family and friends at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E Third St., Williamsport PA from 8:30 to 9:30am on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth St., in the Fleming Center, with Rev. David W. Bechtel officiating. Burial to follow at Wildwood Cemetery with full military honors.
The family will provide the flowers.
