Joseph N. Cioffi, 94, of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing.
Joe was born in Williamsport on July 23, 1923, the son of Nicola and Maria (Viscaretti) Cioffi.
Joe was a self-employed carpenter and a U.S. Army Veteran.
His wife of 59 years, the former Marion M. Seidel, died Jan. 7, 2008.
Surviving are his children: Joseph N. (Karen) Cioffi, of Muncy, David A. (Debbie) Cioffi, of Williamsport, twins, Mary L. (Lewis Morgret) Cioffi, of Williamsport, Michael P. Cioffi, of Williamsport; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents and his wife, a daughter, Ann Marie Cioffi died in 1962; granddaughter, Ann Marie Cioffi died in 1992; two brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, on Thursday followed by burial in Wildwood Cemetery.
