James Bruce Cameron, 78

James Bruce Cameron, 78, of Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

He was born to the late Murray and Myrtle Cameron on October 11, 1939 in Warren, PA.

After graduating from Warren High School in 1957, Jim honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1959 to 1963. Four years later, he earned a degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Weber State University in Ogden, UT, and began his career with Ford Motor Company. Jim later moved to Lock Haven in the early 70’s, where he became plant manager for Champion Parts Rebuilders. Years after, he went to work at Hammermill Paper Company and later retired from First Quality Products.

Jim was a 32nd degree Master Mason and an avid hunter and fly fisherman. He enjoyed mathematics, crossword puzzles, and rescuing stray dogs and cats.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Jan; and his brother, Murray “Perk” Cameron, Jr.

He is survived by his brother, Larry Cameron of Covington, VA; two sons, Jason (Lisa) Cameron of Summerville, SC and Bradley Cameron of Lock Haven; and many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
