Gerald “Jay” Clifton Bauman, 49

Gerald “Jay” Clifton Bauman, 49, of Swissdale, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020.

Jay was born in Renovo on November 12, 1970.

He graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1990 before obtaining his Associate’s Degree in construction carpentry from Williamsport Area Community College.

Over the years, Jay worked maintenance at International Paper and First Quality Products, Lock Haven. He had also been employed in the security department at Croda, Mill Hall.

He was a member of the Lock Haven Moose Club, Beech Creek Legion and Lock Haven Son’s of Italy and a past member of the Bald Eagle Rifle League.

Jay enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time at his family camp.

He is survived by his daughter, Emily Bailey of Mill Hall; his father and mother, Charles R. and Patsy M. Saylor Bauman of Swissdale; four brothers, Mark (Rosa) Crossley of Kentucky, Jim Crossley of Renovo, Terry (Tammy) Bauman of Mill Hall and Danny Bauman of Bellefonte; three sisters, Linda Crossley of Renovo, Ruth Keen of Lock Haven and Rhonda (Mike) Lambert of Williamsport; and his biological mother, Sylvia Crossley of Renovo.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Bauman and a sister-in-law, Penny Bauman.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11 A.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High Street, Flemington, PA 17745 with Rev. Susan Champion officiating.
Friends and family will be received for a time of viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 P.M.

Private interment will be held at Swissdale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Dunnstable Twp. Rifle Team.
