Beatrice A. “Bea” Cooper, 79

Beatrice A. “Bea” Cooper, 79, a resident of Montgomery, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her residence. Born Saturday, July 19, 1941 in Milton, Northumberland Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Neitz) Younger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cooper.

Bea was a 1959 graduate of Montgomery/Clinton High School. She was employed as a secretary by the former Montgomery Mills.

She was a member of Clinton Baptist Church and a social member of Bower-Decker American Legion Post #251 at Montgomery where she was also a member of the ladies auxiliary.

Bea is survived by three step-sons, Rusty Cooper, Barry Cooper and Kelly Cooper. She is also survived by 5 siblings, June Snyder of Montgomery; Fred and wife Rita Younger of Montgomery; Robert and wife Ruth Younger of Watsontown; Sharon Younger of Montgomery; Kathy Munson of Williamsport and eleven nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Younger.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. from the Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren Street, Montgomery, PA 17752 with David Jacobs, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clinton Baptist Church.
