Alice R. (Lockcuff) Clymer, 82

Alice R. (Lockcuff) Clymer, 82, of Williamsport, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018, at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital with family by her bedside. Surviving is her husband, Raymond P. Clymer, with whom they celebrated 45 years of marriage on February 23.

Born August 22, 1935, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Mildred P. (Waltz) Lockcuff.

Alice retired from Shop-Vac in 1981 after 13 years of employment. She was a member of Maple Springs United Methodist Church. She was a permanent member of the Pennsylvania State Women’s Bowling Association, 600 Club, and Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame.

She enjoyed bowling, square dancing, motorcycle riding, and playing cards. Most of all Alice treasured spending time with her family and loved being a grandmother.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Theodore E. Dauler (Julie), of Laurelton and Raymond P. Clymer II (Brenda), of Avis; two daughters, Mary Hensler (Vance), of Linden and Paula Fudge (David), of Oval; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to honor the life of Alice will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with the Rev. Robert W. Reagan officiating. Burial will follow in Buchanan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
